Domestic players in the West Indies went on strike yesterday and refused to play in the three scheduled matches in the West Indies Cricket Board's regional four-day competition in protest at money that is allegedly owed to the players.
Yesterday's strike followed the resignation of Dinanath Ramnarine, who heads the players' association, as a director of the WICB while the West Indies players have also shown their solidarity.
