New Zealand face an uphill battle to deny India a rare Test series win on New Zealand soil when the teams begin the second Test in Napier on Thursday.
Having claimed their first Test victory in New Zealand in 33 years in emphatic fashion in Hamilton, the visitors are poised to end a run of series defeats dating back to 1967-68.
Given the talent at captain MS Dhoni's disposable and the vast experience key players such as Sachin Tendulkar (157 Tests), Rahul Dravid (132), VVS Laxman (103), Virender Sehwag (67) and Zaheer Khan (63) possess, it would be a brave person who backed against the in-form and confident Indians to end their poor run in New Zealand.
