Dinanath Ramnarine refused to comment after leaving the meeting at a Bridgetown hotel but board officials are confident this weekend's two one-day internationals against England will go ahead as planned at the Kensington Oval on Friday and Sunday.
Further discussions are planned after this weekend as they attempt to resolve the conflict before the West Indies fly to England for the start of a two-Test series starting at Lord's on May 7.Bridgetown failed to end the deadlock over money which is allegedly owed to the players and resulted in domestic players going on strike for the first day of the WICB's regional four-day competition.
