Mendis, Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni 
said on Monday his team 
is not wary of playing him. 

Addressing the media here on the upcoming five One-Day International series against Sri Lanka beginning on Wednesday in Dambulla, the Indian skipper, however, said it is always "tough to beat Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka". 

Asked how his team was going to face Mendis, who ran though their batting order in the Test series here last year, Dhoni said they had a measure of the spinner during the subsequent ODI series, which India won.

Australia though can regain the number one position immediately as they take on New Zealand for five ODIs, just two days after the Perth match. Whichever side leads the ODI Championship table on April 1 will collect $175,000 with the runners-up pocketing $75,000. The same is true of the Test Championship with the top team walking away with $350,000.

Irrespective of India vs Sri Lanka result, South Africa will go to top of the table if they win the fifth and final match of the ongoing series against Australia in Perth on Friday.
