If Viru and Gambhir can continue the same tomorrow and others can build on that we can really do well. We have the in-form VVS Laxman and Sachin Tendulkar.

I think Dravid can come good as well. It was a good decision by Dhoni to have fielded first Although he has been brought back after a long gap, I am sure his experience would have helped us. Well, I don't blame Dhoni's decision at all, a captain I think always knows better, but in my opinion Balaji or Irfan could have a made a big difference today on this particular wicket.

Well nothing special. Just play to your potential. Show patience, as conditions keep changing there. I think we have players who have tons of experience and they should come good this time. Most of them have played there before.

We have two strike bowlers in Zaheer and Ishant. Their form is going to be the key in this series. Given the chance, our spinners Harbhajan Singh and Amit Mishra can pose problems. Well you may not compare them with a Prasanna or a Bedi,

who were very successful wherever they played. But I am happy with our attack, which is good enough to win matches abroad.: Conditions I reckon are the same.

We also had the same wind. Yes the wickets are certainly a bit flatter now. But there is always something for the bowlers as the weather keeps changing from time to time.Well, just memories remain. They keep haunting us. Yes it was a fantastic series win for us. Till now that win is history. I did well with the bat, but others also came good when we needed the most. Chandu Borde, Surti, Jai and Pat were superb in that series.

India reached the close at 27 without loss after openers Virender Sehwag (22) and Gautam Gambhir (six) negotiated a seven-over spell.

Ominously for the Black Caps, Sehwag hit five boundaries before stumps were pulled to back-up Vettori's thoughts the pitch was flattening out.

"Having batted on it for two sessions I've realised that the bite has been taken out of (the wicket)," Vettori said.

"For us to go well against these guys we are going to have to bowl really well, really disciplined and be patient with them. If we don't a big total could easily pile up on us."
